Snapz works with any shoe that has flat lace eyelets — trainers, sneakers, running shoes, casual shoes, and most children’s school shoes. They are not suitable for shoes with very thick round laces or boots with hooks.

Yes! Snapz is ideal for children. The magnetic snap is strong enough to stay shut during play but easy enough for kids to open and close themselves. Many parents report their children gaining shoe independence for the first time after fitting Snapz.
Will the magnetic buckle hold during sport or running?
Yes. The magnetic hold is firm enough for everyday activity including walking, jogging, and light sport. For high-intensity running or competitive sport, we recommend traditional laces as these provide a tighter, more customisable fit.
How long does fitting take?
Most people fit Snapz in under 5 minutes per shoe. Simply remove your existing laces, thread the elastic lace through the eyelets, attach the magnetic buckle, and adjust the tension. No special tools required.
